The Board of Directors concept. Think about how a company operates. A successful company doesn’t rely on just one advisor. It has a board of directors. People with different backgrounds, different expertise, and different perspectives. I believe the same concept applies to you and your life. Instead of relying on just one mentor, I built my own personal board of directors. Different mentors served different purposes. Because the truth is, there is no perfect mentor. One person can’t cover everything. Sometimes mentors evolve. Sometimes your needs change. And occasionally, someone quietly rotates off your board.
